Information on the authorization of leakers belonging to wastewater treatment systems

Our wastewater treatment equipment has a CE conformity mark, so what needs to be approved is the leakage field. This power falls under the authority of the locally competent Clerk based on § 24 (1) point c) of the following legislation.

The options for the construction of sewage treatment plants and seepage fields are given by the Local Building Regulations , this document lays down what utility replacement equipment can be used in the settlement. Before ordering, please find out whether this type of wastewater treatment solution is permitted in the settlement.

For waste water treatment systems under 500m 3 /year, you can order the preparation of the design documentation required for licensing from us.
To prepare the plans, we only need a copy of the title deed and a copy of the map. (It does not have to be authentic documents.) If you are installing the wastewater treatment plant with another contractor, please draw on the map copy where it will be placed in the area. (A sketch drawing is enough.)
We prepare the design documentation within 3-5 working days and send it by post in 3 copies. In all cases, the administration is the responsibility of the customer, as the property owner can apply for the permit.

Construction can begin in possession of a valid establishment permit.
The licensing time takes a maximum of 30 days, if the Registrar also involves specialized authorities, this time may be extended by the administration time of the specialized authorities. The customer is responsible for paying the fees incurred during the authorization procedure. In some areas, the Clerk may request a soil mechanics expert opinion, the preparation of which is not included in the cost of the design documentation.

During licensing, the following legislation is taken into account:

If the discharge of purified water exceeds 500 m3/year, or if the receiving water is fresh water, a water law licensing procedure must be carried out at the regionally competent Disaster Management Directorate . This procedure requires various environmental impact studies and soil mechanics expert opinions, which we cannot help prepare, but we can recommend planning offices that specialize in water rights permits.

If you have any questions about this, please contact us at the following address:
If you order a system from us for which the Notary does not issue the installation permit, our company does not assume responsibility for it.
